Craiova city hall online — which portal does what

Craiova has not one online portal but five, on four different domains, and the city hall's own menu does not make clear which does what. This is the map.

Paying local taxes

Pay on ghiseul.ro — the national platform, which Craiova uses rather than running its own payment page. The city hall's information page about it is at online.primariacraiova.ro.

You need an account on ghiseul.ro. Taxes on buildings, land and vehicles are all payable there.

Booking a counter appointment

Three different offices, three different booking systems — this is the part that wastes people's afternoons:

Note that taxes and ID cards are at the same address but use different booking systems. Booking the wrong one does not get you seen.

Submitting and tracking documents

The Portal servicii on-line handles filing documents and petitions, and "Urmărește-ți cererea" tells you where a submitted request has got to. Both are reached from the online services page.

Building and planning

Two public registers, searchable without an account: the register of building permits and the register of urbanism certificates. Applications themselves go through the city's e-portal.

Residential parking

Residential parking spaces are managed at parcari.primariacraiova.ro. This is separate from street parking, which is paid per hour — see where to park in Craiova.

Heavy vehicles

Vehicles over 3.5 tonnes need an access authorisation for perimeters "A" and "B" of the city. The form is in the online services section.
