Craiova Local Council — where the decisions are published

The Monitor, the sittings and the consultation drafts — an index to the official record.

What it is and why you might care

The Local Council votes the things that show up in your life: the local tax rates, the parking rules, the budget, what gets built where. Council decisions are the legal instrument behind most of what the other pages in this section describe.

Where the official record is

Monitorul Oficial Local is the legally mandated publication: council decisions, mayoral dispositions, the statute of the municipality, and the public register. If you want to know what was actually decided — as opposed to what was reported — this is the primary source.

Ședințe Consiliul Local carries the sittings themselves, published online.

Comunicate is the city hall's own announcements feed.

Transparență decizională publishes drafts open for public consultation — the stage at which a decision can still be influenced, and the stage almost nobody reads.

Council agendas and decisions are the clearest case for not mirroring anything. They are legal documents, they are amended, and a decision that was adopted in one form and modified later would sit here in its outdated form with our name on it.

So this page is an index to the official record and nothing more. For what the council has decided, read the Monitor; for what it is about to decide, read the consultation drafts.
